CONEXPO-CON/AGG Education – GPS on the Jobsite: What You Need To Know

Come see Dan O’Reilly speak about GPS on the Jobsite: What You Need To Know.

Date: Friday, March 13 • 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
Location: Westgate – Pavilion 10

GPS technology is commonly used in the construction industry by contractors. Instead of having to train crews to use conventional surveying equipment, construction companies can issue GPS devices to their workers to more easily collect data about an area under construction, such as a new road section. Construction crews can obtain accurate data more quickly with GPS units, freeing them up to begin construction earlier.

Learning Objectives:
1. Gain an overview of the GPS tech available for the jobsite.
2. Learn how to properly train and equip crews for GPS usage.
3. Understand how to efficiently use the data collected to push productivity.
